Projects and Studies from the Public Investment Programme in Messinia

Ongoing projects and studies from the public investment Program financed with new credits. For projects from the public investment Program this year's appropriations for the Peloponnese region reach 8.072.441, 48 euros, while for the studies about 200.000 euros.

Studies

At the last meeting of the Regional Council of the Region accepted financing from the public investment programme (PIP) for the program of studies of 2014.

The total budget of the project from the PIP amount to EUR 26.951.189, 07, while this year's annual appropriation of EUR 199.441 is for the ongoing studies that had joined in SAMP026/3 (co-financed) and the completion of projects already included in via 026 (national component).

The bulk of the funds will be spent on transportation projects.

To Messinia, the studies that are included in the planning of the region are:

-Feasibility study for the construction of the Op. Asprochoma-Messini-Rizomylos, with rest after 31/12/2013, EUR 1.353.000 and EUR 1,000 annual appropriation.

-Feasibility study for the construction of the Op. Pylos-Romanos, with rest after 31/12/2013, EUR 1.6 million and an annual appropriation of EUR 10,000.

-Completion of studies of the road Kalamaki-Koroni, with rest after 31/12/2013, EUR 765.000 and EUR 15,000 annual appropriation.

-Improve 1 Kalamata-Kardamili-E.o. Itilo and bypass settlements, with rest after 31/12/2013, EUR 2.530.195 and EUR 1,000 annual appropriation.

-Construction of sewerage network Arfara-Thouria-Aryan, with rest after 31/12/2013, EUR 100,000 and an annual appropriation of EUR 1,000.

Projects

For projects from the public investment programme, this year's appropriations touching the 8.072.441, 48 euro, where here the transportation projects are gaining ground.

To Messinia works provided are:

-Road Maintenance and repair – Peloponnesus maintenance equipment and instruments, annual appropriation of EUR 10,000.

-Addressing landslides in national & provincial road network of the region, an annual appropriation to EUR 230,000.

-Damage restoration Windward Mole in the port of Koroni (construction phase II projects), annual appropriation of EUR 1,000, and rest after 31/12/2013, EUR 1.5 million.

-Maintenance – lighting of roads Region, with an annual appropriation of EUR 10,000.

-Maintenance Highway Tripoli-Kalamata on the borders of Arcadia, with an annual appropriation of 12,000 euros.

-Slope 82is Lining the highway of Kalamata-Sparta, with an annual appropriation of EUR 100,000.

-Maintenance of the provincial road network, Messenia, with EUR annual credit also.

-Maintenance of national road network, Messenia, with annual credit 790.000 euros.

-Maintenance 15 provincial road (part of Filiatra-Fennel-Romanus), with remaining after 31/12/2013, EUR 500 000 and EUR 1,000 annual appropriation.

-Level node 10 IPS. Road (entrance Chatzi Messina), with remaining after 31/12/2013, EUR 200 000 and EUR 10,000 annual credit.

-Maintenance – improving road Platania-old Neda bridge, with an annual appropriation of EUR 10,000.

-Improved street maintenance – Ano Dorio – Trees, with an annual appropriation of EUR 1,000.

-Managing epidemiological hazards arising from mosquitoes: creating and organizing surveillance, rapid reaction mechanism and control of mosquitoes in the region, with an annual appropriation of EUR 1,050,000.

-Road Vasilitsi-Koroni (Vasilitsi Department – junction with the 9th op o. to Koroni), with annual credit 28.531, 65 euros.

-Way to Vlora – οf Pteri-panorama-Karyes-Elea, with an annual appropriation of EUR 52.629, 48.

-"Responding to emergencies from force majeure in Messinia (2014-2017)" with a budget of 1,500,000 euros.

-"Flood protection works in Messinia" with a budget of EUR 2 100 000.
