navarinoinvestment-invest in art ...Garsot

With two major paintings displayed at the entrance hallway and with a prominent, substantial center exhibition space, first-time Artexpo exhibitor GARSOT made quite the splash in New York in early April of 2014. Reporting sales of five important pieces and worldwide contacts established via interaction with media from China, the middle east and local and national outlets, Artexpo NY turned out to be a major stop on the artist’s world tour. The personable Greek-born artist, who painted live on site, made many new friends and enjoyed the camaraderie with a steady stream of visitors to his booth. According to his agent and publisher, John Apostolou, collectors took home the following major original works: “Flowers For You”, “Coral Reef”, “Ocean Sunset”,” Sunny Moonlight”, and “Kiss Me Tonight.” The subject of Fine Art Magazine’s May cover, with an eight page feature and a 20 minute video interview with publisher Jamie Ellin Forbes on the Fine Art YouTube channel, Garsot also found himself on television early Sunday morning on New York 1 – Time Warner Cable’s 24-hour news-channel in New York City, delivering breaking news and features about the five boroughs.
Garsot is planning a trip to Greece this summer to scope out his lifelong dream project “Back to the Caves”, a collaboration of Artists from around the World chosen by him to paint monolithic, mythological, environmental and Olympic spirited themes using cave walls as his canvas which surround his native village of Valta, Messinias Greece dramatically located between the sea and the mountains.
