Joaquin “Chapo” Guzman, Mexico’s most notorious drug lord, has escaped from the maximum security prison of Altiplano through a secret shower hatch and a 1-mile tunnel. This is Chapo’s second successful prison break: in 2001 he broke out of a prison in Jalisco, either sneaking out in a laundry cart or disguised as a woman.
In the wake of the world’s most powerful drug trafficker’s escape, Fusion updated a documentary titled
