Yahoo's Top Searched of 2015

Yahoo has released its top searches of 2015, and judging from the results, 2015 was the year of the woman, with eight of the top ten most searched terms being female celebrities of one type or another.
The No. 1 top search on the site was a sad reminder of the loss of the young Bobbi Christina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
Other female celebrities to make the top ten included Caitlyn Jenner, Jennifer Anniston, Katy Perry and Ronda Rousey. In fact, all of the people-related searches in the top 10 were female. The only non-celebrity related searches in the top 10 list were the iPhone and Minecraft.

Along with its list of overall top searches, Yahoo also released the top searches for a number of different categories, as well as top searches on Polyvore, top images on Flickr and top solo artists on Tumblr.
Other 2015 top search lists from Yahoo included “Most searched presidential hopefuls,” with Carly Fiorina, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton taking the top three spots. The most searched cocktail on Yahoo was an Old Fashioned, and the most searched sports moment was the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, followed by US Women’s Soccer Team Wins World Cup.
The most searched question on Yahoo was “how do you tie a tie?”
