C4I-Terrain Dominance

Due to recent events - terror attacks in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and terror threats and alerts in most parts of the world - call to immediate attention the matter of C4I. Though some threats are rather vague, most alerts are specific to a certain area, usually an urban area which is not only heavily populated, but sends a stronger message to nations all around the world. Understanding the threat we are up against, the way terrorists think and act, is only one aspect of the fight against them. Such understanding must be backed by technology, helping intelligence services all around the world gain the upper hand. Alerts are the first step, after which we must have every little clue under surveillance. Such targeted surveillance is what offered by Terrain Dominance technologies. Such technologies include sensors, Motion Control systems, Electro-optics and Surveillance, Components and Electronics, Navigation systems via satellites, Power Control systems, Rugged Systems, Applications and softwares, Inertial sensors, Cyber Defense systems, and Real-time operating systems. All these and many more advanced technologies are what allows for data, analysis and a thorough understanding of a defined area, all by remote technology without having to risk lives by entering the parameter. All these technologies will be displayed in a conference for Military Technologies and C4I for Terrain Dominance and Civilian Applications held in the Israeli Air Force Center in Herzliya on December 23rd, in order to offer safer, more extensive C4I capabilities. Military technologies can be used for more than only military use, and many commercial and industrial companies are involved in the military technology industry, whether in manufacturing the technology or actually using it. Security services must have these set of tools available to them and constantly upgraded in order to have an advantage in what seems to be an endless battle against terror.
